[00:00:00] (The episode opens on the solid background with the inner border.)
Cary [00:00:00] Let’s do TWOW 11B!

[00:00:01] I’ll admit: the eleventh TWOW prompt was a bit too wacky for my tastes, but that’s because TWOWers wrote it, not me! By the way, if you think about it, no prompt is actually, mathematically harder than any other prompt. Why? Because if it’s harder for you, it’s most likely harder for everyone else, too, and since you only need to be in the top eighty percent to survive, it doesn’t really matter if the prompt is confusing or really simple; you’re still battling against the same other contestants.

[00:00:29] The prompt was, “Why do insane commenters like to fashionably extinguish shiny cowards, but don't like to quietly consume hysterical cats?” Our thirty-five remaining contestants submitted thirty-eight entries, which 363 voters cast 1,072 votes on.

[00:00:46] I know, you’re like, “What? Over a thousand votes?” What happened was, ComputerCat had this vote with six letters in it. They actually voted 564 times, each vote being a permutation of the six letters. So, a few things. First of all: yeah, sure, ComputerCat, I’ll count it. I mean, it’s not any harder for me because my computer program does it automatically. Second: since your vote weight is spread out over all your votes, each vote here received a weight of only one over 564, which is tiny, and the net effect of them all was to ever so slightly raise the six responses mentioned and lower the four responses not mentioned. So you didn’t really game the system, calculator feline.

[00:01:29] So who addressed the prompt the best? Since the prompt was so hard to approach, the top percentile was only 65.o1%. Well, we’ve got a new victor this time, and it’s… Meester Tweester, who said, “Extinguishing cowards stops their screaming, but eating pets is cat-astrophic.”, which is nice, because it addresses both sides of the prompt, and it includes a pun, (Underhandedly) which is, like, an unspoken ten percent boost or something.

[00:01:58] (Normally) 106 was actually the lowest number of votes received, which means all TWOW 11 entries got a triple digit number of votes! Thanks to ComputerCat, some entries got over seven hundred votes.

[00:02:10] Now you can see that Meester Tweester, Tak Ajnin, and The Futech Hacker will be getting those scrumptious double response prizes that are deliciously lovely! Tak Ajnin, The Futech Hacker, QwerbyKing, and beanme100 all tried to find some order in the chaos by using alliteration of words that begin with C’s. Just like Meester Tweester, Riley used a pun, but rinkrat02 beat them both with three puns in one sentence! Yessoan and xXBombs_ AwayXx both portrayed the commenters as firefighters who saved the cats from dangerous places, again bringing both halves of the prompt together! And finally, TheMightyMidge used a rhyme to offer a reason why commenters are attracted to cowards and repulsed by cats!

[00:02:55] So that’s the top ten. There are still twenty-five other TWOWers! Out of the thirty-five total contestants, the top twenty-eight will stay in fashion, while the bottom seven will be extinguished! Let’s see who placed where.

[00:03:09] (The first and second leaderboard pages are shown.)
Cary [00:03:20] At this point, nineteen TWOWers have been declared safe, but sixteen have not! There’s only nine safe spots remaining. Did your favorite TWOWer make the cut? Let’s find out.
[00:03:31] (Safe contestants are moved one by one into a safe zone. After the safe spots completely deplete, the eliminated TWOWers are crossed out. The final two leaderboard pages begin to be revealed. “Childhood Memories of Winter” plays as the fourth is shown.)
Cary [00:04:22] Goodbye to Quinn Ruddy, DeeandEd, Ni Hao Guylan, Stalemate, pokemonmanic3595, Christian deWeever, and John Petrucci. Today was a particularly sad day, as we lost a batch of shiny, non-cowardly minds, including two former first place winners. It devastates us to see you demoted from TWOWer to insane commenter. Farewell.
[00:04:52] (The music and the screen return.)
Cary [00:04:52] Moving on!

[00:04:53] Ni Hao Guylan had the most controversial response, while Yessoan’s first response was the least controversial!

[00:04:59] And Ni Hao Guylan, you almost gave away which response was yours in the comments on TWOW 11A, because there were only two responses that had fewer than ten words! That was risky. But I guess you were eliminated anyway, so I can’t ask you not to do that again.

[00:05:15] So, you know how I tried to predict who would win TWOW in the last video? Well, let’s update it with the new data! Here are the normal distribution curves, and here is the probability chart! By placing at an impressive second this time around, Tak Ajnin gained another fourteen points to now have a forty-four point seventy percent chance of winning all of TWOW!

Orange Cary [00:05:36] Wait, are you saying Tak has a better chance of winning than the bottom twenty-five TWOWers?
Cary [00:05:40] Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying, and I find it hard to believe, too!

[00:05:45] Everyone’s got at least a four percent chance of making it to the final ten, so good job to you guys!

[00:05:50] (The book montage begins to scroll by.)
Cary (TWOW 1B) [00:05:50] To summarize, here’s who’s still in and who’s eliminated. If you’re eliminated, you won’t be able to send me any more responses for upcoming TWOW season 1 prompts.
[00:06:00] (The screen returns.)
Cary [00:06:00] Let’s dive right into TWOW 12, which is the highest number you can say with just one syllable.

[00:06:05] What’s the prompt? Well, I want to try something with characters this time, so here’s a story: “Jade was climbing a tree in her backyard for fun. She began to feel lonely, so she went to Ruby's house to invite her to climb trees together. Ruby agreed and followed Jade back to Jade's backyard, but upon arriving, Jade instantly knew they would not be climbing trees together. Why?” I’ve never tried a prompt like this before, but that’s what TWOW’s all about—it’s a giant experiment!

[00:06:32] Twenty-eight remaining TWOWers, submit your best responses, that are ten words or fewer, to me, carykh, by May 12, 2016, at 10 PM UTC. And Meester Tweester, Tak Ajnin, and The Futech Hacker, you get to submit two responses to this prompt, and only the better one will count.

[00:06:49] See you in TWOW 12A, where the voters will get to vote on these twenty-eight TWOWers’ amazing entries!

[00:06:54] (The music fades out and the screen fades to black.)
